At Monarch Movement Company, every student follows The Monarch Journey, a curriculum progression that mirrors one of nature's most remarkable transformations. Whether a child steps into their first class or a teenager refines their artistry on stage, the journey moves through three phases: Caterpillar, Chrysalis, and Monarch Migration.

The Caterpillar phase welcomes our youngest movers, from toddlers exploring rhythm alongside their caregivers to kindergartners discovering the joy of dance through play and imagination. The Chrysalis phase is where young dancers in 1st through 4th grade begin to take shape, building technique and confidence across a growing range of styles. Monarch Migration is where it all comes together: leveled classes for 5th through 12th grade that challenge, deepen, and expand each dancer's artistry as they find their own voice in movement.

Through Monarch Theater Company, students in 1st through 8th grade find their voice on a different kind of stage, one that blends performance, storytelling, and character into the same spirit of discovery and growth that defines everything we do. Whether a student is a dancer, a performer, or both, The Monarch Journey is their story to grow into.
