Parade Details:

Learning the parade dance:

The parade dance will be taught during many of our regular weekly dance classes in November. A set schedule will be decided and shared soon. If your dancer is not enrolled in one of those classes, they are invited to attend during this time. Dancers wanting additional practice are also welcome to drop in to additional parade classes. There will also be an optional - though highly encouraged - full group rehearsal closer to the parade date. Stay tuned!

Hello Monarchs!

It is time to get festive and "Light Up the Night" in Hillsborough's annual Holiday Parade on Sunday December 6th.

We will meet at our allotted site ~3:30pm, the parade begins at 4:00pm lasting until ~6:00pm.

**WHEN THE TOWN SENDS DETAILS TO US, WE WILL SHARE THEM WITH YOU TOO**

Three ways to participate

RIDERS
- Monarchs who are 3yrs to 2nd Grade may ride the float. Dancers 5yrs and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian walking beside the float. All riders and walking adults should wear Monarch gear or festive attire. Max 20 riders
WALKERS
- Monarchs who are 3yrs and older may walk behind the float accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. All walkers should wear Monarch gear or festive attire.
DANCERS
- Monarchs who are 3rd Grade and older may dance behind the float. All dancers must wear a turquoise Monarch hoodie, black leggings and comfortable athletic shoes fit for a mile of dancing! We will send out information about learning the dance soon.

Your dancer must be signed up to secure a spot on the float and the formation!

Under "Activities" in your customer portal, search for EVENTS. You should see all three participation options. Make sure you have selected to see activities for all ages!
October 30th is only the deadline to order a dancer hoodie - you can still sign up to participate after that!
