Monarch Movement Company will follow the guidance put forth by the CDC as well as any local and state ordinances when considering Masking and Covid Policy. As we have learned, this guidance is constantly changing. We pledge to make ourselves aware of current science and reflect that in our decision making.
Masking at Monarch
For children's classes, Monarch will be following the guidance put forth by Orange County Schools. At this time, that looks like masks for children and staff. We also ask that adults entering the studio to accompany a child to class also wear masks.

For adult movement classes, unvaccinated adults must wear a mask and maintain distancing. Some classes will be marked "masks required." It is a top priority that our faculty and staff feel safe and confident in our studio and we appreciate your respecting this preference. Unmasked participants will be asked to wear a mask or to attend a mask optional class at another time.

Additional Covid & Illness Policies...

Students and caregivers entering the studio must submit to a temperature screening and immediately wash or sanitize their hands.

If a student or household member has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or other contagious illnesses or is exhibiting signs of such illnesses, they should not attend class. The studio is happy to arrange make-up classes.

Students and families should consider masking if they are exhibiting signs of any respiratory illness to slow or stop the spread of common colds and flus.

Frequently contacted surfaces such as doorknobs, ballet barres, or props will be sanitized frequently.

Windows and doors may be propped open to allow for maximum fresh air flow when the weather is conducive.
